How much do you earn in IT when you start out?

The IT industry offers high (or very high) salaries – we’ve all heard this statement. Is it true? We decided to check the situation regularly. The Mamo Pracuj team conducted its first survey a year ago. Interested in the results? Check them out

The #MamoPracujwIT group includes many people who are just considering a career change or who have already started learning a new profession. In an anonymous survey published in the group, we asked about the salaries of those members who had received their first job offer in IT in the last 12 months.

The responses were collected in the second half of August 2023. In the survey, we asked about: position, scope of responsibilities, starting salary, type of contract, city and size of the company, where:

  • small company < 50 employees,
  • medium-sized company 50-250 employees,
  • large company > 250 employees.
